How do I use DecoArt Antique Patinas? Formulated by DecoArt exclusively for Rayher, these oil based patinas allow you to create an aged, time worn appearance that would normally only come with years of natural ageing. Oil based patinas contain a very high pigment load and allow for more time to blend colours and apply even glazes than acrylic and is particularly effective on wood, painted surfaces and metal. Quick and easy to use - simply brush on, then wipe away to leave patina in cracks and crevices. Can be built up in layers if required - a little goes a long way! For larger pieces, work in sections and dry for 24 hours between coats.
