About Green Tara Blossoms
The name Green Tara is a popular female Buddhist deity of the Mahayana Buddhist tradition. She is compassionate, wise and a nurturing mother figure and since Buddhism is the primary religion in the region where these products are made, Green Tara was chosen as an appropriate and inspiring name. Mulberry paper (or saa paper as it is called in Thailand) is made from the bark of the mulberry tree, which peels from the trunk of the tree at the end of each rainy season.
