About Green Tara Blossoms
The name Green Tara is a popular female Buddhist deity of the Mahayana Buddhist tradition. She is compassionate, wise and a nurturing mother figure and since Buddhism is the primary religion in the region where these products are made, Green Tara was chosen as an appropriate and inspiring name. Many women are employed in the making of these products which give pleasure to many more women around the world. Green Tara has given work to many villagers in the area where the products are made. Mulberry paper (or saa paper as it is called in Thailand) is made from the bark of the mulberry tree, which peels from the trunk of the tree at the end of each rainy season.
